While planning her private future with her partner, she gets the chance of becoming a candidate for the position of mayor of Berlin and prepares for competing with the city’s powerful ones. During this phase, however, she gets into conflict with her own father’s political interests, him being the leader of the conservative party.When finding out about some deceptive business practice with mayor-in-office Degenhardt, she feels urged to start on a journey back into her own past to find out truth. Alex, a journalist and good friend of hers from youth times, supports her in her confrontation with her past and her father’s criminal offences. One prime result during her search is, that transparency and honesty are hard to keep up within the political arena she is about to step into.

But, two shrinks and a murder prove more than Judith can handle. 　　"Valie Export's third feature is an anti-romance in which the heroine, oscillating between two relationships, 　　gradually discovers that both are impossible, not because the subjective processes of "love" are defective, 　　but because the objective, social matrix in which both her male lovers operate is corrupt, immoral, murderous: 　　in this film, the male world and its power structures cancel the possibility of love beyond the matter of sexuality, 　　that is the objectification of love. Export makes use of techniques drawn from her earlier experimental cinema, 　　video and conceptual photography to expand the possibilities of narrative feature filmmaking and to disintegrate 　　some of its overdetermined conventions." 　　Video control in subway stations and in street traffic, tapes and cameras are very important 　　for the structure of the film. Mediocrity, hypocrisy and violence are the film's main themes. 　　Valie Export deals with them on private, social and media levels, adhering to the techniques 　　of video avant-garde.

The British parliament has decided to get rid of the royal family. All of them have to leave the county and so they move to Germany, where they want to live by their distant relatives, the Bettenberg family. But these are not amused about their snobbish visitors, which all want to reside in their little house without doing any work to earn their living.
